SDCC 2011 DC New 52 Panel (7/21)

SDCC Coverage

There were a series of DC New 52 panels at SDCC 2011, and Suine Hallock managed to sit in on the first one, which featured Eddie Berganza (Executive Editor), Cliff Chiang (Wonder Woman), Paul Cornell (Demon Knights), Dan Didio (DCE Co-publisher), Bob Harras (Editor-In-Chief), Dan Jurgens (JLI), J.T. Krul (Green Arrow), Paul Levitz (Leigion of Super-Heroes), Scott Lobdell (Teen Titans), and Freddie Williams II (Captain Atom). The panel addressed fans' fears of the big relaunch, previewed what's coming from it, and answered fan questions.

NOTE: The Green Arrow discussion and part of the Demon Knights discussion are missing due to something going wrong with the recording. Around the 14 minute mark, the panel jumps from Mr. Lobdell discussing Teen Titans to Mr. Cornell continuing to talk on Demon Knights. Apologies for the missing content.

SDCC 2011 Marvel Year of the X-Men Panel

SDCC Coverage

Here is yet another SDCC 2011 panel you can listen in on! It's Marvel's Year of the X-Men panel featuring the talent list of Chris Yost (X-Men: First To Last), Marjorie Liu (X-23), Daniel Way (Deadpool), Rick Remender (Uncanny X-Force), Peter David (X-Factor), Axel Alonso (Editor-In-Chief), and Arune Singh (Marvel Communications Director). In it, they go over what to possibly expect from X-Men: Schism, as well as lots of other stuff coming from Marvel's Mutant community!

Please note: Some of the creators on this particular panel are soft-spoken people (I'm looking your way Ms. Liu). Combine that with me not having an optimal seat, as well as lots of cheering and excitement next door and this might make for a quieter track than one might like. Long story short, you may want to turn this up a bit more than usual!
