What surprises does DC have in store in Project: Superman? And speaking of surprises if I didn’t know any better I’d think it was 1994 all over again. Welcome to the Comics Corner! These comics came out on Wednesday and Comic Con International officially started on Thursday. These comics are old news now! But just in case you haven’t been pouring over the internet enough during the last few days this week the Corner has the high-flyin’ adventures of the Rocketeer, the return of Daredevil to the land of relevance, Brian Michael Bendis does his best to keep the Avengers out of Fear Itself and finally Qui-Gon Jinn takes a walk on the Dark Side. Yeah, I’m still reading it and it’s still fantastic! This week is all about surprises as the new Venom series moves into (un)expected territory, Spider-Man continues his decent into mediocrity and Star Wars: Darth Vader and the Lost Command concludes as one of the best Vader stories the Expanded Universe has to offer. No surprises however with Super Dinosaur, two issues in and that series is still awesome! Speaking of awesome we’ve also got the return of Skullkickers and everything comes to a head in the latest issue of FF. So come inside as we get medieval on the Top of the Stack!
