Marvel is clearly gearing up for some sort of event, though there are no details other than these teasers. One theory is that Marvel will be filling the month of March with more “What If…?” specials showcasing alternate outcomes to some of the top storylines in Marvel’s history. Another theory supposes that Marvel will be introducing a new line-wide crossover in the vein of Secret Wars – something that they have shied away from in the last few years. Regardless, we still have to wait for a formal announcement.
