PRESENT A STORM KIDS COMICS SERIES
‘THE GRIMMS TOWN TERROR TALES!’

Happy 2021!
It goes without saying that for many of us 2020 turned out to be one of the most challenging years to date. This is why I feel so dang fortunate to have spent much of the year working with a team of creative superstars at Storm King Comics.

Creating alongside the masters of horror John Carpenter and Sandy King Carpenter has been a dream come true. These two mad geniuses are largely responsible for my love of monster movies and all the creepy and crawly things that go bump in the night.

Over the last year, we’ve teamed with artist Renae De Liz and letterer Janice Chiang to create a brand new graphic novel series titled The Grimms Town Terror Tales. From the story, to the art, the lettering, and layout, this book is by far my most beloved creation. I am humbled and proud beyond words.

After a year of hard work, the book is finally set to release. It will be available in comic shops starting February 10th & online and in brick and mortar bookstores on February 23rd.

SO WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT
The Grimms Town Terror Tales follows the adventures of brother and sister duo Hansel & Gretel as they face off against a nefarious witch commanding a legion of ghouls, ghosts, and goblins. Along the way, the kids must unravel a series of mysteries in hopes of tracking down their parents, who have mysteriously vanished.

Armed with an awesome array of techno-magical weapons designed for paranormal butt-kicking (technological devices fueled by magical energy), this dynamic duo must pick up where their parents left off, protecting Grimms Town from all the dreadful things that go bump in the night.

TO QUOTE MR. MARV WOLFMAN
“I’m not usually a fan of fairy tale stories, but I have a hunch Grimms Town, Candy Creeper, is going to make me change my mind. The story by Neo Edmund is not only great fun, with sparkling dialogue and characters I came to understand and care about right from the very beginning, but it’s also sneaks up on you as a solid horror/adventure story as well. I found myself wanting… no. needing to finish reading it in one binge-worthy session. And it certainly doesn’t hurt that the art by Renae Deliz is truly amazing. Her characters live and breathe and her ability to create a real world for those characters to live in, immediately draws you into the story. Neo and Renae have done a wonderful job of making me care and if you give Grimms Town a chance I have a hunch it’ll do the same for you.”
