Spooky New All Ages Miniseries and Exclusive Merchandise Planned for 2019<\/h2>\n

CHICAGO:<\/p>\n

This Summer, Devil\u2019s Due will release the first of several comics\u00a0by creator of the cute but\u00a0macabre, Gus Fink, featuring his collectible\u00a0Boogily Heads\u00a0line of toys in an original comic book story. Working with Fink will be artist Laura Pendl.<\/p>\n

The series centers around a boy who is teleported by a black magic portal into the land of Boogilyville, where all manner of creepy crawly creatures accompany him in his quest to return home.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoogily Heads\u00a0is a perfect fit for the Devil\u2019s Due line because not only is it\u00a0a great comic with a\u00a0\u2018Burtonesque\u201d style that people will love,\u201d said the publisher\u2019s commander-in-chief Josh Blaylock, \u201cBut it also fills a void we have for comics that appeal to the growing\u00a0all-ages comics audience,\u00a0while still fitting our vibe.\u201d<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m very happy to be working in comics again. I haven’t been in the game since working with Slave Labor Graphics in the mid 2000s on\u00a0The Trouble with Igor, and It\u2019s great to return to my first true love in art,\u201d says Fink.<\/p>\n

Devil\u2019s Due and Fink plan to release a combination of traditional comic book issues, graphic novels, and limited edition merchandise catering to comic book shops and boutique retailers including\u00a0Hot Topic and\u00a0Spencers, and will be promoting\u00a0at\u00a0Licensing Show\u00a0in Las Vegas later this year.<\/p>\n
