LOS ANGELES, CA (February 1, 2019)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 BOOM! Studios today revealed a first look at\u00a0BAGS (OR A STORY THEREOF)<\/strong>, a new original graphic novel by Patrick McHale, creator of the Emmy Award-winning Cartoon Network series\u00a0Over The Garden Wall<\/em>, artist Gavin Fullerton (Disney\u2019s\u00a0Space Chickens in Space<\/em>), and colorist Whitney Cogar (Steven Universe<\/em>), available in stores July 2019.<\/p>\n

BAGS (OR A STORY THEREOF)<\/strong>\u00a0is the tale of a man and his dog. John Motts lives his life in his home with his dog, Beth, until one day, she goes missing. John begins a frantic search that leads him to the policeman\u2019s home, the advice-giving walrus down the street, and eventually into the dark woods beyond the edge of town where he runs into several mysterious figures in this haunting tale of loss and the unknown.<\/p>\n

BAGS (OR A STORY THEREOF)<\/strong>, featuring a cover by Fullerton, is the latest release from BOOM! Studios\u2019 award-winning \u00a0KaBOOM! imprint, home to comics for middle grade and younger readers including licensed series such as\u00a0Adventure Time\u2122<\/em>,\u00a0Steven Universe\u2122, Rugrats,<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Over The Garden Wall\u2122<\/em>, along with original series like\u00a0Pandora\u2019s Legacy\u00a0<\/em>by Kara Leopard, Kelly & Nichole Matthews,Bodie Troll<\/em>\u00a0by Jay Fosgitt,\u00a0Ruinworld\u00a0<\/em>by Derek Laufman, and\u00a0Just Beyond<\/em>\u00a0by R.L.
