(NASDAQ: HAS), announced today an original graphic novel starring fan favorite characters, Karone, Andros, and the iconic Psycho Rangers in\u00a0SABAN\u2019S POWER RANGERS: THE PSYCHO PATH<\/strong>\u00a0from writer Paul Allor (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Clue<\/em>), \u00a0fan-favorite artist of\u00a0Power Rangers: Soul of the Dragon<\/em>\u00a0Giuseppe Cafaro, and colorist Marcelo Costa, available in stores October 2019.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0SABAN\u2019S POWER RANGERS: THE PSYCHO PATH<\/strong>, the struggle between good and evil goes galactic as secret origins are revealed and lives are changed forever in this epic original graphic novel story that delves deep into the origins and motivations of the ultimate adversaries of the Power Rangers, the Psycho Rangers! They\u2019re are faster, stronger, and smarter\u2026but evil. Created by Karone when she was still the evil Astronema, the Psycho Rangers were programmed with overwhelming hate for all things Power Rangers. They were defeated at great personal cost by the Power Rangers, but now someone has brought them back and they are more murderous than ever before.<\/p>\n

Who brought these monstrous, twisted Rangers back, and why? And can Karone, the former Lost Galaxy Pink Ranger, and her brother Andros, the Red In Space Ranger, stop the Psychos before they bring the universe to its knees?<\/p>\n

SABAN\u2019S POWER RANGERS: THE PSYCHO PATH<\/strong>\u00a0features a cover by acclaimed artist Diego Galindo (Kino, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Paul Allor is a comic book writer based in Indianapolis, Indiana. He has written for comic book series ranging from\u00a0Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0GI Joe\u00a0<\/em>for IDW to\u00a0Kong of Skull Island<\/em>\u00a0for BOOM! Studios. He is also the author of several critically-acclaimed creator-owned books such as\u00a0Tet<\/em>,\u00a0Past the Last Mountain<\/em>, and\u00a0Monstro Mechanica<\/em>. Paul currently teaches comics writing courses through Comics Experience.<\/p>\n

Giuseppe Cafaro is an Italian comic book artist who has worked in the industry since 2010 to great acclaim. Cafaro has been the artist for titles such as\u00a0Catwoman<\/em>,\u00a0Suicide Squad<\/em>, and\u00a0Superman\/Wonder Woman<\/em>\u00a0for DC Comics,\u00a0Fathom\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Soulfire\u00a0<\/em>for Aspen Comics, and\u00a0Power Rangers: Soul of the Dragon<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Firefly: Bad Company\u00a0<\/em>for BOOM! Studios.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing a part of the\u00a0Power Rangers\u00a0<\/em>family is such a huge honor. I felt the weight of that honor in\u00a0Power Rangers: Soul of the Dragon<\/em>, and I can feel it now. I think the Psycho Rangers universe is so powerful and dark; it has been very fun to work on!\u201d said artist, Giuseppe Cafaro.<\/p>\n

Currently,\u00a0Power Rangers<\/em>\u00a0is celebrating over 25 continuous years on the air, making it one of the longest running kids live-action series in television history with nearly 900 episodes aired to date. Created by Haim Saban and launched in 1993 with\u00a0Mighty Morphin Power Rangers<\/em>, the franchise celebrates its milestone anniversary year with the 26th season,Power Rangers: Beast Morphers\u00a0<\/em>currently airing on Nickelodeon in the U.S.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything turns upside down as Karone and Andros are forced to deal with the rise of the Psycho Rangers, causing Karone to struggle with her identity as the dark and power-hungry Astronema and pulling Andros along for the ride as he tries to help his sister.\u201d said Dafna Pleban, Senior Editor, BOOM!
