Acclaimed filmmaker and writer Bryan Edward Hill (American Carnage, Batman & The Outsiders<\/em>) and artist Gleb Melnikov, along with series creator and story consultant Joss Whedon (the visionary writer\/director behind\u00a0Firefly<\/em>,\u00a0Marvel\u2019s The Avengers<\/em>, and more) reimagine the groundbreaking pop culture phenomenon as the world deals with the consequences of the open\u00a0HELLMOUTH<\/strong>, \u00a0available in stores October 2019.<\/p>\n

With Angel trapped in Sunnydale, the rest of Angel\u2019s newly formed team has their hands full dealing with the Hellmouth\u2019s fallout in Los Angeles. Will this gang of supernatural crime-solvers be able to protect Los Angeles from the shockwaves of the Hellmouth’s opening\u2026 and from newly arrived vampire, Spike?<\/p>\n

ANGEL #6<\/strong>\u00a0features a main cover by artist Dan Panosian (Slots, Batman: Arkham Knight<\/em>), and a variant cover by horror illustrator Scott Buoncristiano (Harry Potter: Magical Film Projections, Dead Rabbit<\/em>), as well as a connecting variant cover by artist Go\u00f1i Montes (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers<\/em>) that connects to\u00a0HELLMOUTH #2<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER #9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Created by visionary writer and director Joss Whedon (Marvel\u2019s The Avengers\u00a0<\/em>film franchise),\u00a0Angel\u00a0<\/em>premiered on the WB Network on October 5th, 1999 and was a spin-off from\u00a0Buffy the Vampire Slayer.<\/em>\u00a0The series ran for five seasons from 1999\u20132004, starring David Boreanaz as Angel, the tortured vampire destined to walk the earth with a soul who moved to LA to set up shop as a supernatural private investigator. Despite Angel\u2019s best efforts to deal with the sins of his past all by himself, Angel Investigations soon became home to other lost souls searching for redemption and willing to fight by his side.<\/p>\n

ANGEL\u00a0<\/strong>is the newest release from BOOM!
