STAMFORD, Conn. \u2013 July 11, 2019 \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>With less than one month until kickoff of the 2019-20 Premier League season, NBC Sports Group today released its television schedule for the first two months of the season. The schedule features live coverage of all matches beginning Friday, August 9, as last season\u2019s Premier League runners-up and Champions League winners Liverpool host newly promoted Norwich City at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Universo.<\/p>\n

Rebecca Lowe<\/strong>\u00a0hosts NBC Sports\u2019 Premier League coverage, joined by former Jamaica National Team player\u00a0Robbie Earle<\/strong>, former U.S. Men\u2019s National Team midfielder\u00a0Kyle Martino<\/strong>, and former Premier League footballer\u00a0Robbie Mustoe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The networks of NBCUniversal will present at least five matches each week in the season\u2019s first two months on NBC, NBCSN, and CNBC, with all games preceded and followed by\u00a0Premier League Live<\/em>\u00a0pre- and post-match shows from the NBC Sports Group International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn.<\/p>\n

In addition, matches will be telecast in Spanish each week by Telemundo and Universo and will also be streamed on the Telemundo Deportes En Vivo app for mobile devices.<\/p>\n

Premier League games on NBC and NBCSN will be streamed on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app \u2014 NBC Sports Group\u2019s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs. Highlights From August-September Premier League Schedule<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Aston Villa, Norwich City and Sheffield United join as the promoted clubs for the 2019-20 season. Sheffield United will play in the Premier League for the first time since 2006-07, while Aston Villa and Norwich City both return to the top flight after a three-season absence.<\/p>\n

MANCHESTER UNITED V. CHELSEA<\/strong><\/p>\n

Manchester United come off a roller-coaster 2018-19 Premier League season and face a tough opening-match challenge in Chelsea.\u00a0 Manchester United made a managerial change midway through last season after their worst ever Premier League start. Former forward\u00a0Ole Gunnar Solskjaer\u00a0<\/strong>took over for Jose Mourinho, but the club could manage only a sixth-place finish. Meanwhile, Chelsea will enter a new era after their third-place Premier League finish and a Europa League title last season. The club\u2019s all-time top scorer\u00a0Frank Lampard<\/strong>\u00a0begins as the team\u2019s head coach this season, overseeing Chelsea\u2019s transition from an attack led by superstar\u00a0Eden Hazard<\/strong>\u00a0to one that will feature Hershey, Pennsylvania native\u00a0Christian Pulisic<\/strong>, who was named Best Young Player in the recently concluded CONCACAF Gold Cup.<\/p>\n

Arsenal host Tottenham in the first North London derby of the 2019-20 season at Emirates Stadium in week four.
