LOS ANGELES, CA (June 28, 2018)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 BOOM! Studios announced today thatBONE PARISH<\/strong>, an all-new addictive necromantic horror series from superstar writer Cullen Bunn (Harrow County, The Unsound<\/em>) and artist Jonas Scharf (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers<\/em>), has earned a full series order of twelve issues in advance of its debut in comic shops on July 25th due to the overwhelming early response from retailers and fans.<\/p>\n

BONE PARISH<\/strong>\u00a0follows the proliferation of a new drug sweeping through the streets of New Orleans\u2014one made from the ashes of the dead. Wars are being fought over who will control the supply, while the demand only rises. While the warring factions collide, users begin to experience terrifying visions of the dead coming back to life\u2014through them. And at the heart of it, one family must decide how far they\u2019re willing to go to connect \u2013 or perhaps disconnect \u2013 from the world around them as this dangerous conflict escalates in shocking ways.<\/p>\n

\u201cI couldn\u2019t be more excited about the expansion of the\u00a0BONE PARISH<\/strong>\u00a0story,\u201d said Cullen Bunn. \u201cI tend to think in terms of longer stories, and I definitely had more of a story to tell with\u00a0BONE PARISH<\/strong>. BONE PARISH is the latest release from BOOM! Studios\u2019 eponymous imprint, home to a world-class group of licensed comic book series and ambitious original series, including\u00a0Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, WWE, Abbott, Coda, Mech Cadet Yu, Grass Kings<\/em>, and\u00a0Klaus<\/em>.<\/p>\n
