San Diego, October 30, 2018:\u00a0IDW Games<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Sony Pictures Consumer Products<\/strong>\u00a0today announced plans to develop a series of tabletop games for both\u00a0Men in Black<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Ghostbusters<\/em>\u00a0franchises including, for the first time, a crossover miniatures board game featuring both\u00a0Men In Black<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Ghostbusters<\/em>. The multi-year agreement comes ahead of the new\u00a0Men In Black<\/em>movie set for June 2019 and\u00a0Ghostbusters<\/em>\u00a0celebrating its 35th<\/sup>\u00a0Anniversary in June 2019.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Currently under development,\u00a0Men In Black\/Ghostbusters: Ecto-terrestrial Invasion<\/em>\u00a0will be a miniatures loaded board game featuring the world\u2019s foremost protectors teaming up to take down a threat unlike any they have faced before. Making up the Ghostbusters team will be Peter Venkman, Egon Spangler, Ray Stanz, and Winston Zeddmore, and the MIB team will consist of Agent J, Agent K, Agent L and Zed. While these two teams have faced unearthly threats before, the strength of the Ecto-terrestrials is nearly overwhelming, but that doesn\u2019t mean there can\u2019t be a little friendly competition.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

With all new character designs by fan-favorite artist\u00a0Derek Laufman<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and innovative game design by\u00a0Panda Cult Games<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(Wander: The Cult of Barnacle Bay<\/em>),\u00a0Men In Black\/Ghostbusters: Ecto-terrestrial Invasion<\/em>\u00a0features a blend of fast action dice-chucking, take-that card play, and highly detailed sculpted miniatures from\u00a0Ninja Division<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(Super Dungeon Explore<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Men In Black\/Ghostbusters: Ecto-terrestrial Invasion<\/em>\u00a0miniatures board game will release in late 2019. Additional stand-alone games for each franchise are also currently in development and slated for release next year.<\/p>\n
