RED SONJA’s new series is coming in hot, right around the corner. We’ve got even more fun news as we roll through the year to celebrate the character’s big 50th anniversary. The second issue ups the ante even more, there’s a San Diego Comic Con extravaganza in the works, and even more. For the hotly anticipated launch by writer Torunn Grønbekk and artist Walter Geovani, we had to bring a heavy hitting who’s who team of cover artists to the table for fans! Each cover on the first issue was carefully considered, and we’re really proud of the all-star roster put together!

Superstar Shannon Maer leads the way, with a striking cover in his digitally painted, instantly recognizable style, which also graced the cover of Previews for the month.

The B cover by Jim Cheung is absolutely electrifying, really capturing the kinetic nature of the She-Devil With a Sword.

Having Jenny Frison back for a gorgeous piece following her beloved string of covers for the Gail Simone run a decade ago is a big treat.

We’re proud to bring in industry legends for their first official contributions to the character like Mike Mignola and Kevin Eastman, both of which will forever have diehard fans thanks to their history-making creations and signature art styles.
