Comic Book Chronicles Ep. 324: New Not Hangouts, What This?

Welcome to another exciting episode of Comic Book Chronicles!

There comes a day, like a few others sadly, when Google wills the life or much cared for functionality out of their products. The latest victim: Hangouts on Air. This turn of events has our heroes, Agent_70 and Roddykat prototyping a new way to bring this beloved podcast to the masses. And on this day, new comic books will be reviewed while live-fire testing happens because Roddykat can’t help himself. And also on this day, news of the cinematic and comic book adjacent variety will be conversed upon. And this day will be henceforth called…Thursday, just like every week.

Jonathan Hickman’s parallel X book, Powers of X starts this week. The guys share their thoughts on the book and the naming of said book (let Roddy have this, thank you). Death’s Head also has a new number one issue, this week. American Gods’ Yetide Badaki wants to be Storm and half the panel wants that to very much be so. The Avengers: Endgame writers are still talking, this time claiming to get Superman right on film. Krypton canonizes. 2005’s Constantine comes to DC Universe. There are some comic book related news items coming out of Gen Con that is quite exciting to one host. OH! and there’s an unboxing, those are always fun. #kliqsoftheweek!

Pardon the dust.
