Comic Book Chronicles Ep. 376: Cancellations always cancelling

Welcome to another exciting episode of Comic Book Chronicles!

It is another Empyre-tastic week here at the Comic Book Chronicles. More new releases and more Empyre and its tie-ins…but also a little sadness. This is the SECOND event where (She) Hulk gets messed over! Wait, that(while true) wasn’t it. A couple of books end their run this week and Agent_70 and Roddykat talk at length about them. There’s also heavily demanded, often craved, highly talked about debut issue of a crossover that none of what was just said may have applied to: IDW’s My Little Pony/Transformers #1 Oh yes, folks, it is here and we know you can’t WAIT to find out everything about his titanic pairing of two properties (that part might ACTUALLY be true. Who knows?).

In the news, Candyman reboot’s Nia DaCasta is helming Marvel’s Captain Marvel sequel! Lilly Wachowski says that the Matrix was intended to be a Trans story (So the Wachowski’s are the greatest failures in the history of storytelling – DiRT). There is more John Wick in store after chapter 4! Marvel cancelled a couple more good comic books. Feast your eyes (and ears) on an official Dungeons & Dragons cookbook. There’s a good bit of news about Crystal Dynamics’ upcoming Marvel’s Avengers game and it’s beta. Tom Taylor’s new DC Comics book has been revealed (and has started this week)! Who would have thought #kliqsoftheweek would have gone the way they did. Answer: probably everybody….
